CCNU,Adriamycin,and 5-Fluorouracil Combination Chemotherapy in Advanced Gastric Cancer

Abstract

|
Twenty-five patients with advanced metastatic or unresectable adenocarcinoma of stomach were given combination chemotherapy consisting of CCNU, adriamycin, and 5-fluorouracil. One patient achieved complete remission and seven partial remission to give an overall response rate of 32%. The duration of remission ranged from two months to 14 monhts and the median duration of remission was 5 months. The combination regimen was well tolerated, and produced moderate bone marrow toxicity.
